Ray Dimakarri Dixon

Ray is an elder and Ngurramala (guardian of country) for his community of Marlinja, about half way between Darwin and Alice Springs. Ray’s songs celebrate country, family and culture, but also warn against the imminent threats to his way of life, including fracking and other extractive and polluting activities.
