Wadaiko Rindo & Noriko Tadano

In an exciting new collaboration, Shamisen virtuoso Noriko Tadano is joined by the powerful Sydney-based Japanese taiko drumming ensemble, Wadaiko Rindo Sydney. Established in 2010 with the support of Melbourne based taiko master Toshi Sakamoto.
Noriko is an ever-evolving creative force who continues to take her Japanese music to places few have ventured. She’s an award-winning Japanese shamisen performer and a traditional Japanese vocalist, who regularly performs nationally and internationally.
Together the musicians offer an energetic performance which captivate and inspire, showcasing the deep dynamic sound of taiko drums and Shamisen.
